Approaching a counsellor for support can feel daunting so here's a bit of information about me to help you to feel more confident before reaching out.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my counselling services - and well done for getting to this point! It can feel vulnerable to accept help, and even more difficult to reach out and ask for it!
I thought it might be helpful for you know a bit about me before you take that next step. My educational background is rooted in psychology. I did my Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Psychology at Newcastle University and Northumbria University, respectively, before moving down to Warwickshire and training as a counsellor.
I've worked in crisis support with SHOUT, as a Mental Health Lead within the education sector and provided counselling to adults through New Hope, a low cost counselling agency.
I now run my own private practice, offering in person and online tailored counselling sessions to adults. I have a comfortable counselling room based in Barford (with fidgets!) to help you to feel safe, seen and supported.
I understand how life-changing therapy can be. Through my own personal experience, I was able to let go of old beliefs and behaviours that were holding me back and start living a life free from shame and distress.
Maybe I can help you, too?
